X7 Phenom reborn

Worst X7 I have encountered. With internals that has never been cleaned before. Following shots are taken before any restoration work is done.

MAGPUL UBR stock on Tippy X7 Phenom adapter

MAGPUL UBR stock on a custom Tippy X7 Phenom adapter from tactical gear. Was an easy mod using the stock M4 tube from an airsoft spare part. Feel solid and sure to be able to withstand heavy punishment in the field.

Rear Light protector installed.

Rear Light protector cover installed. Quite happy with how it looks. Mounted with a few 3M mounting tapes.

Ford Ranger T6 rear tail light cover

Wonder how this rear tail light cover will look upon installation. Not much protection due to its minimalistic design. Was contemplating to spray paint it flat black....

Ford Ranger T6 handle bowl insert installed

Just installed the Ford Ranger T6 handle bowl insert. installation is very easy with mountings using 3M double sided tape.  The install took sbout 30min for the 4 door handles.  Time spent mostly on tearing out the protective layer of the double sided tape

Spare wheel lock installed

Just DIY installed the Ford Spare wheel lock. Took me a good hour to put every thing together. tricky part is the mounting Screw which attaches the lock to the Rangers cross member. Tricky because the work area to insert the bolt is rather restricted, only a small finger space available to manoeuvre the bolt into position. Just added the installation manual from Ford. BTW the Size and offset for the Ford Ranger T6/PX are as follows PCD 6/139.7 Offset P55 for the Ford standard rims.

FIZZ Sport Lid

Just installed the FIZZ malaysian made sportlid. Fit needs to be adjusted as the lid is currently scraping the frame. Spray job from batu caves 4x4 is horrible, with excess paint not smoothen out before clear coat is applied. Had to DIY with a piece of 2000 grit sandpaper with polish n wax to smoothen things.
