NEWMEN Evolution SL Straightpull Road Center Lock Disc Hubs

Just Received the NEWMEN Evolution SL Straightpull Road Center Lock Disc Rear Hub. First visual inspection ...Build appears to be of Good quality. The Front Hub comes with a Reducer Cap/Collar for the 15x100mm TA to fit a 12x100mm. The total weight for front and rear hub is a commendable 287g. For comparison my current DT Swiss 350 Straight Pull Center Lock Disc REAR HUB only is already 267g. Will update further once it has been laced to the ASTUTO IMEZI 40mm Rims from Japan, Built by MB Custom (megabike)...hoping to achieve the total wheelset weight of 1.44kg

NEW Giro Empire SLX Road Cycling Shoes Metallic Charcoal. Testing of this iconic shoelaced shoe underway. First ride was pleasantly comfortable with just the lacing portion kinda slow compared to the usual dial from the Atac & ratchet type fasteners. But once tucked in the laces stayed there the entire ride without any issues.

Bontrager XXX Full Carbon Road saddle

Testing the Bontrager XXX Full Carbon Road saddle at Lekas highway 90km ride last weekend. with a smooth semi flat surface it was easy to move around the saddle to find your sweet spot during different sections of the ride. however after 80kms the comfort level began to diminish.  I was wearing a bib shorts with a medium distance chamois for this ride. At 68g, this could be the lightest saddle I have ever tested.

If you are wondering where WebDC manage to get a Wahoo Blendr Mount (which TREK does not have at the moment).. this is a 3D printed Wahoo Blendr mount from Shapeways. Some work needs to be put in which involves sanding the top part of the mount which contacts the head unit as the paint coating that came with the mount was a tad too thick.

Upgraded the Dura Ace Crank, Cassette, Rear & Front Derailleur . Weight in at 8.1kg (Complete bike with Look Keo Blade 2 pedals).

Next would be to lightening the saddle by swapping out the Bontrager Montrose Elite to another saddle. The Montrose Elite is reported to be 220g. With the current predicament of Madone Saddle clamp which does not support 7x9 rails, most Italian saddle like the Astute, Fizik who does not comply with the 7x10 Rail platform are unable to be utilized.

Thank you for the inquiry. I double checked with our product team, this issue is something they are aware of and are working on. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have the parts that will accommodate a 7x9mm rail for the Madone SLR. I also do not have an ETA on when such a part would be available.

Huami Amazfit Stratos

Been using the Amazfit Stratos for 2 week now and very happy with the features and performance of the watch but the only grouse is with the LUG of the watch..that is the part where the watch case connects to the strap. LUG cover uses a triangle piece of metal as a cover and the part is crucial as that is the part that snaps on to the charging dock when you charge the watch. The cover for the LUG just dropped off after my Sunday's road bike ride. Without the part I had to place a heavy object on the watch to ensure contact to the connectors on the charging dock. .

Akrapovic Raceline bolted on with CO2 parameters keyed in. Still had the Db on to see the difference.
