General's Battle Wound

Battle wound from the last Big game I participated. Probably the result of a marker that had exceeded the allowed chrono limit of 300fps. These conduct of poor sportsmanship should not be condoned and the players who practices these sort of play should be blacklisted from the local fields to prevent anybody experiencing bodily harm from future encounters.

Thumb hole stock

The thumb hole stock is the last item in the SL9 items needed to be completed, material was obtained from ACE hardware. As the pine wood planks were too thin, 2 pieces were needed for the stock. A X7 end cap is attached to the stock by 2 screws & epoxy for strength

Phenom Heavy Magwell Ver 2

It's amazing what you could do with cans, had an idea today to use the Lipton tea can to fabricate the new version of the phenom magwell. The first version was not good enough and had some ecstatic flaws. Wanted something that could interchange magazines. So i measured and cut the tea can to follow the shape of the phenom.

Extended Fore Grip Mod

Extended Fore Grip Mod was done using one X7 fore grip & one Phenom fore grip. Initial work was to fill up the holes at the top of the fore grips with 2 part epoxy as the X7 and Phenom fore grips have a different size & depth although the overall shape is the same.
subsequently after the epoxy had set and dried the work to sand the fore grip takes place. This tasks will be easier if you have a dremmel tool. In my case I started with just plain sand paper but proceed to use a hand drill with a dremmel drill bit.
After the holes are sanded down, I started to cut off the part from the Phenom which attach to marker. The part that was cut off is until the devider. This will give you a flat surface to attach with the X7 fore grip. after cutting the surface needs to be sanded again to ensure that there is a flat & even surface to attach with the X7 fore grip. The two fore grip is later together with epoxy.

Concluded the weekend stint at Tanamera Paintball field. played 3 games. Namely the Lake placid, Kill house & the Viet Cong village. all three games concluded before 2pm. The X7 has some paint break in the Cyclone on the first game probably due to the humidity & the quality of the paint on that day. Cleaned the TechT paddles & the Hammerhead Battlestikxx and the marker was good to go
